                            Karen S. Tyndall, LPC-S

Hello and Welcome.

I am a counseling intern currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. My passion lies in creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients feel truly seen and heard. My counseling approach integrates empathy, active listening, and evidence-based techniques tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. I believe in fostering personal growth by helping clients explore their stories, uncover their strengths, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

Some specialties that I work with are anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, adolescents, and abuse. I am also a certified American Sign Language Interpreter through RID and offer counseling services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading, and playing board games. Staying active is also an essential part of my self-care routine. When I’m not on the go, you can find me engrossed in true crime documentaries—fascinated by the complexities of human behavior and the search for justice.

I’m honored to walk alongside my clients on their journeys and look forward to helping them find hope, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

I am seeing clients in office and virtually.
